Lena Yada introduces Kelly Kelly and Layla for a diva dance off. Lena Yada announces that each diva will have 30 seconds to dance and that the winner will be determined by the audience. Layla dances first, then Kelly. Before announcing the winner, Lena Yada says there is one more diva that was supposed to enter the competition, her! Lena Yada dances and then declares herself the winner. Lena Yada walks off as Layla and Kelly stand in the ring.

Former WWE Diva Maria, wrote a blog entitled “Passions” on her official website mariakanellis.net. In the blog she had some nice words to say about many of the divas including Layla.

Am I mad at WWE? No, I am not. I get it. I understand. They gave me my start and I am thankful. I will however miss the Divas. They will forever be a part of my story. Mickie giving wrestling her heart, soul and a real teacher in the ring. Michelle with her dedication to the divas division is making it grow. Nattie with all the history and excitement. Layla giving it fire, humor, and is a great friend. Kelly the girl that is the beauty that has that same desire as me to prove herself in the ring. Eve is a fighter and can choke you out! (Eve I can’t wait to come train with you now that I have some time on my hands.) Beth, the foundation, sweet, strong, and a great listener. These girls and all the Divas are my inspiration. I admire them. I will keep watching you succeed. Thank you Ladies.

Beth Phoenix and Tiffany d. Natalya and Layla – Usual Diva fare; Phoenix and Natalya have talent, but didn’t square off much. Phoenix pinned Layla following a Glam Slam (elevated double-chickenwing into wheelbarrow facebuster).

VIEW SCREEN CAPTURES

Backstage, Michelle and Layla thanked Vickie for being the referee in Michelle’s championship match last week. They talked about Vickie slapping Mickie and told Vickie she looked flawless in her referee outfit. They gave Vickie a Simply Flawless tank top as a gift. Beth Phoenix came along and LayCool left. Beth wanted a title opportunity but Vickie wouldn’t give her one.

WWE is currently working on a new DVD set for the Divas. The set will feature segments and matches from WWE Divas of the past and present. The only former WWE Diva confirmed for the project so far is Trish Stratus.
